Founded in 2016 The Estate Dairy is a family-owned B Corp premium dairy company, deeply rooted within Cheshire, on the Cholomodeley estate. We work with a trusted collective of family run farms to produce unhomogenised milk and cream, Greek style yogurt, cultured butter and Cottage Cheese. Guided by traditional farming and shaped by modern thinking, we’re driven by a passion for dairy farming and a commitment to producing exceptional dairy products

Farms & Suppliers

At The Estate Dairy, we work only with farms we know personally. One of them is Philip Winward, who farms 300 acres at Croxton Manor on the Cholmondeley Estate, the same land the dairy now sits on. Philip produces beautiful milk from his own herd, so we can trace every bottle back to the field it came from. We think milk this good deserves to be left as unprocessed as possible, which is why ours is unhomogenised, with the cream still in.

The Estate

Our home is the Cholmondeley Estate in Cheshire, the landscape that gave our dairy its name. It’s a working estate, shaped by generations of dairy farming. This corner of Cheshire has been dairy country for longer than anyone can remember, and the estate’s farmland is no exception. Cholmondeley takes the long view on land and craft, and that’s the standard we make to.

Shaun and Rebecca Young established The Estate Dairy in 2016, a family-run business focused on high-quality dairy farming. With an commitment to excellence, we source the finest milk and cream directly from our partner farms, ensuring that every product we create is of the highest quality.
